Product — Keyboard and windows
Window shape
Task windows and Settings use FixedSingle borders. The maximize box is off. Do not expect the window to fill the screen. If a control is tight, use the form as laid out; scroll only where a list or grid provides a scrollbar.
The key store can grow vertically within a minimum height; it does not stretch wide without limit. Widen columns if Unverified or similar text is clipped.
Keyboard
- Tab / Shift+Tab — next / previous field
- Enter — default button when one is set (Sign in, OK)
- Esc — often Cancel / close on dialogs
- Password fields: optional Show password checkbox; default is hidden
There is no full application hotkey map beyond normal Windows Forms behavior.
Idle lock
Idle lock watches keyboard and mouse in this application (main window and tasks). Using File Task or Text Task resets the timer. Switching to another program without input in Encrypt3 can let the timer expire. Lock does not replace the Windows session lock.
When the lock fires, open task windows should close or hide so they are not left readable behind the sign-in box.
High DPI
Use Windows display scaling you already use. If a form was designed at 100%, 150% scaling may crowd labels; that is a layout limit, not a maximize option.
Help
Help opens the help file from the program directory. Support opens the help desk in the browser. Neither is a keyboard-only wizard.
